I rise to support the recommendations of the Departmental Committee on Lands on the nomination and appointment of Mr. Enosh Onyango Momanyi as Principal Secretary in the State Department for Physical Planning. At the outset, I want to make it clear that in as much as the nominee is Mr. Momanyi and I am also known as Ben Momanyi, I set the records straight that we are not related and we have never met. I have only seen on paper all the things that have been said about Mr. Momanyi, and I have gone through them in the Report of the Committee. From what we have heard from the Committee, this is a competent person. He is a person who will bring change in the Department.
