"content": "We came up with Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) initiative whereby the youth of this country can access the Government procurement opportunities. Thirty per cent of Government tenders are supposed to be allocated to youth, women and persons with disabilities but does it happen? The answer is no. If a youth today applies for a tender advertised by, say, the NG-CDF, KeRRA, county government or the national Government and he is awarded the tender, he cannot raise the required capital to do that job. What happens? He or she ends up defaulting in doing that job and eventually it is re-advertised or it goes to somebody else."
