    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this very important Bill. From the outset, I support the Bill with a few amendments which, as you said, need to be brought during the Committee of the whole House, so that we can polish this Bill further. The tea industry has really suffered for quite a while. Although tea is one of the main cash crops of this country, it has not received its share of support in terms of legislation, support by the Government or bodies that run the industry. Because of these vices or failures having not been addressed in legislation earlier, tea farmers have suffered from the word go. They have not been getting value for their labour and efforts.
