"content": ". Middlemen take most of the earnings. For instance, the people involved in marketing tea and coffee do nothing in terms of production. They are not involved in planting and the general process of management of sugar-cane, tea and coffee. They are not involved even at the processing level, but they turn up for marketing and take a big percentage of the earnings that would otherwise be due to farmers. They are the ones who reap the most at the end of the day, after everything has been done by ordinary farmers. Therefore, once enacted into law, this Bill will help to cure some of those problems.
