"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this important Motion. I support the work and the effort the Committee has put in to come up with this Report. It means a lot of input. There are a number of things which I feel should not be as they are like it has been said by my colleague on the issue of IDPs. As it is, it is the stand of the current leadership of the ruling party and the opposition that we should never experience violence after elections at any other given time from now henceforth. Taking into account the prevailing peace in the country, we should not be hearing of IDPs. As it is, the Constitution provides that one can stay in any part of the country, trade and can own property in any part of the country. The people who experienced violence in 2007/2008 were guaranteed security, peace and coexistence after the inauguration of the Constitution of Kenya, 2020, within their communities."
