The Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights has no objection to the amendments on the grounds that the National Assembly has amended the definition of Cabinet Secretary (CS) in Clause 22 and deleted it to read ‘Attorney-General’ which is in tandem with the Constitution of Kenya. Therefore, the Committee has no objection and approves that amendment."
