"content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I beg to move the following Motion - THAT, the Senate adopts the Report of the Standing Committee on Roads and Transportation on its inquiry into projects undertaken by the Kenya Maritime Authority, Kenya Ferry Services and the National Social Security Fund, laid on the Table of the Senate on Thursday, 21st November, 2019. Madam Temporary Speaker, pursuant to the Senate Standing Order No.218(3), the Committee undertook inquiries into the following issues which are ongoing projects of public concern because they are being implemented by Government institutions to follow up on issues arising. The Committee raised the following concerns on the Likoni Cable Car Project: (a) The justification for awarding the Cable Car Tender to Trapos Limited as a non- complete, Privately Initiated Investment Proposal (PIIP) under Section 61(1) and (2) of the PPP Act, 2013);"
