Speaker, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order 44(2)(a), I rise to give the following statements on behalf of the House Business Committee, which met this past Tuesday at the rise of the House to prioritise the business for consideration. It is important for Members to note that this is the first part of the session and it is normally very busy because of the budget cycle, which has already begun. With the departmental committee currently considering the 2020 Budget Policy Statement (BPS), we also expect the Division of Revenue Bill 2020 to be introduced in the National Assembly by 10th March 2020.
