    "content": "If this Bill becomes an Act of Parliament, it will be a point of reference. It will make the problems that are faced by the farmers to be addressed. This will help our country improve agriculture, since it is one of the key sources of revenue to our economy. The Government should be very much interested in making sure that our farmers are not only happy, but they also get something from their hard work. I support this Bill, provided that the farmers’ issues are incorporated. They should also contribute to the Bill because they are the ones who know the problems they face. The establishment of the Tea Board of Kenya is very important. In the past, societies which deal with tea, coffee and other products made those farmers really go down because of poor leadership. As we come up with this Bill, it should be addressed."
