    "content": "The Committee invited the Ministry on 6th August, 2019 and 15th October, 2019. On both occasions, the Ministry failed to appear before it. We wish to record the Committee’s disappointment at what we consider as flagrant disregard of pubic duty by the Cabinet Secretary (CS). We also wish to remind the CS of the oath or solemn affirmation that he took, which in part states: “I will work and truly serve the people of the Republic of Kenya in the office of a Cabinet Secretary. That I undertake to hold my office as a CS with honour and dignity, and that I will be a true and faithful counselor to the President for the good management of the public affairs of the Republic”.
