He was a charismatic and patriotic leader who was precise and disciplined. He had a great appeal to the Kenyan public. He was a very humble man to the point of spending a night in a very humble village called Kyondoni in my constituency. I remember him as a God-fearing man who was a unifying figure. Therefore, Kenyans should unite as we remember him."
