On behalf of the people of Kitui South, the people of Kitui County, my family and on my own behalf, I would like to take this opportunity to pass my condolences to the family of Mzee Moi, our colleagues in this Parliament, Senator Gideon and Hon. Raymond Moi and the grandchildren seated in the Speaker’s Gallery. I remember the President because when I was a child, I sang mashairi for him. I was in primary school then and I still remember the love he had for children. I still remember that when we shook hands with him, it was so special that we did not wash our hands until the following day. Secondly, I remember him as an assertive, energetic and decisive leader.
