Even though we did not agree politically always with the late Mzee Moi, I would like to give my condolences and those of the people of Homa Bay County. On behalf of my late father, who served as a councillor and Chairman of Kitimu County Council during Moi’s time, I would like to give my condolences. They were close. They worked closely together."
