As I join other leaders and Kenyans in mourning the passing on of the second President of the Republic of Kenya, I want us to remember him for the many things he did for this country. One of the main things is education. He guaranteed access to education to everybody, especially the marginalised communities. Unfortunately, and sadly so, on the day he passed on, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) withdrew all the teachers from North Eastern. So, it is sad that the TSC honours the teacher No.1 in that manner."
