    "content": "I came to the Senate to protect and push for more resources to the counties. I still have passion as it was seven years ago. However, considering the circumstances that have been compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, we do not have the opportunity and luxury to engage in other protracted debates with the national Government and the National Assembly. I, therefore, urge this House to approve the Kshs316.5 billion that is meant to go to the county governments as part of the equitable share."
