    "content": "(5) Functions of the National Assembly Committee shall be: (d) To consider and report to the National Assembly, with recommendations, names of persons required to be approved by the National Assembly under this Act. I, hereby, refer the name of the said nominee, including his curriculum vitae, to the Select Committee on National Government Constituencies Development Fund to undertake the necessary approval hearings. Thereafter, the House shall consider the nominee in accordance with the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, 2011. Section 8 of the latter Act requires: (1) Unless otherwise provided in any law, a Committee shall consider a nomination and table its report in the relevant House for debate and decision within fourteen days from the date on which the notification of nomination was given in accordance with Section 5.
