    "content": "Consequently, the Committee should notify the nominee and the general public of the time and place of approval hearings in good time. The notification should, therefore, be made immediately and the Committee may thereafter commence the approval hearings and submit its report to the House on or before Wednesday, 29th April 2020. Hon. Members, even as committees continue to undertake their legislative, oversight and representative duties as required by the Constitution and other statutes, it is important to do so in line with the Speaker’s Guidelines issued on 2nd April 2020 and 11th April 2020 regarding the conduct of sittings of the House and committees during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
