Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research in its Report on the vetting of persons nominated for appointment as members of the Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC), laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 14th April 2020 and, pursuant to the provisions of Article 250(2)(b) of the Constitution of Kenya and Sections 3 and 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approvals) Act of 2011, this House rejects the appointment of Mr. Mbage Njuguna Ng’ang’a and Ms. Leila Abdi Ali for appointment as members of TSC. I thank you Hon. Speaker."
