    "content": "House, grants, donations and whatever else that may come in, will have to go into the Fund to ensure accountability. The Committee sat and looked at these regulations. We have done a detailed report which has been published and is available. There was public participation. Several organisations, including the Kenya Law Reform Commission (KLRC), the Commission for Revenue Allocation (CRA) and ICPA-K, submitted their views. The views are reproduced in the Report. The Committee looked at those views. The National Treasury also looked at the views and provided a response. Having analysed those views and having taken into consideration the pandemic that the entire world faces and the need to have funds provided so that we are able to combat this pandemic, the Committee on Delegated Legislation was satisfied that the regulations meets the requirements of the law. Therefore, we urge the House to approve the same. Thanks to everyone again. Thank you Hon. Speaker, the Clerk, Members of Parliament and everyone who has participated. These are extraordinary times and we have to put in place extraordinary measures to ensure that the pandemic is fought and defeated.
