"content": "Finally, when Hon. Duale spoke about the Cabinet Secretary (CS) Mutahi Kagwe, I wanted to remind him that the work we do of being Members of Parliament, even though sometimes people look down upon it, humbles people. You will agree with me that the way you came here is not the way you are today. It humbles you. It makes you appreciate a lot of things. Therefore, very few serve as Members of Parliament and leave when they are arrogant. That is because you really go through serious tests of dealing with all kinds of people. In fact, the worst are the people who are educated. I find it very easy to deal with people who are considered uneducated in the village because they listen. But those who pretend to know, but do not know, are very difficult. They will even try to tell you what you are supposed to do and you know they are wrong, but they cannot allow you to correct them. So, you have to be humble. Otherwise, the moment you tell them your mind, they will obviously report it out there that so and so is extremely arrogant and that he is not supposed to hold a public office. Even Hon. Moses Kuria who has just arrived, those like myself who knew Moses Kuria in those years in school, he is not the same person. He has been humbled by being a Member of Parliament for Gatundu South."
