    "content": " I beg to move that the Bill be amended by deleting Clause 1 and substituting therefor the following new clause— Short title and 1.This Act may be cited as the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act, 2020 commencement and shall come into operation— (a) in the case of the amendment to section 5(2) of the Value Added Tax Act, 2013, on the 15th day of the next month following assent; and (b) for all other provisions of the Act, on the date of assent. This amendment is meant to align the commencement date with the date of application of the pump prices under the Energy Act so that it does not start in the middle of nowhere. It should coincide with the dates which the Energy Regulatory Commision (ERC) normally announces."
