    "content": "Finally, I would expect that we concentrate on removing tax on masks. Masks are going to be the second normal or the new normal in this country. It is not debatable. For the people of Kenya to know it is not debatable to wear masks, it will be almost compulsory in our lives. How many years to come, months or weeks is the new normal? Therefore, we would have expected this to be zero-rated and even given out for free. I went to a chemist to buy masks for my family and they sell 25 pieces at a minimum of Kshs5,000. How many Kenyans will afford Kshs5,000? Almost zero except us parliamentarians. I trust the Committee and the owner of the Bill will address this issue, so that the country knows that we are addressing serious issues that affect the people of Kenya. Hon.
