    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we all schooled in Lenana School. Secondly, it is true that I resigned from the position of Vice Chairperson of the Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations, and I thank all the Members of that Committee. I effectively chaired it for the last two years because the substantive Chair, Sen. Haji, has been engaged otherwise. People usually say it is unusual for politicians to resign, but I resigned. I also chaired the Committee on Labour and Social Welfare and the Young Parliamentarians Association. I am also part of AFC Leopards Football Club. I am the Chairperson of an Ad hoc Committee and sometimes you shed off weight. I am grateful to the leadership for accepting that resignation and will always be keen to serve wherever else."
