    "content": " Hon. Deputy Speaker, we do not know how this social distancing works. That is because when we keep so far away, it cannot be social anymore. But anyway, we will comply with all those guidelines that pertain to COVID-19. The Committee should report on the following: (i) The correlations between quantities of empty bottles and bottle cups supplied to or imported to the said firms and the amount of tax paid for the period. (ii) Whether the said firms and all their directors have been involved in tax evasion in the past and, if so, what action has been taken against them. (iii)What action has been taken to ensure that all the importers of such consignment pay the necessary taxes without failure? What steps has the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) taken to stem the vice, recover the lost revenue and deter the said firms and others firms from engaging in tax evasion and such schemes. (iv) What action has KEBS taken to ensure that the counterfeit goods are not sold to unsuspecting citizens? I thank you Hon. Deputy Speaker."
