    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I stand to second this amendments by the Member for Lugari, Hon. Savula, who is my good friend. They are progressive amendments. The public debt is now 62 per cent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). With the economic effects of Coronavirus, we are likely to get to a situation where this country will be unable to pay some of these debts. This is progressive. I want to encourage Members to support these amendments. Hon. Savula has proposed two approaches in his amendments: bilateral engagement and multilateral engagement. I think the government should focus more on multilateral engagements. I know efforts are already being made at the level of the African Union for African countries to come together and push for debt deferment and even debt cancellation. With those few remarks, because of time, I second."
