"content": "it is against this background that I seek a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare on the following: (i) What measures have been taken to ensure that all elderly persons, orphans and persons with severe disability are incorporated in the Inua Jamii Cash Transfer Program? (ii) What steps has the Government taken to ensure that the said needy persons who qualify benefit from the program in Ruiru Constituency and who from the year 2018, have not been included in the system despite having been registered? (iii) Could the relevant Ministry state the timeline for the disbursement of the cash and opening up of the systems to update the names of those who were not included previously? Thank you, Hon.
