Speaker, it is on this account that I seek a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research on the following: (i) Could the Government state the appropriate mode of e-learning and its status on the impact of learners during the COVID-19 pandemic? (ii) What is the Government’s immediate intervention to the majority of learners who cannot access gadgets, internet and electricity? (iii) What it the Government’s intervention to parents who paid fees in both private and public institutions which were not utilised during the period the schools and institutions were closed?
