    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. Let me start by informing Sen. Malalah that the rules of being a member of a union depends on the articles of association or its constitution. Therefore, if the members want non-members of that profession to represent them, it is their democratic choice. I want to thank Sen. (Dr.) Musuruve for raising this concern. We are a Government of law, and the TSC is mandated to follow the law. The Constitution is very explicit on this matter that you cannot compel anybody to be a member of anything that they do not want to be a member of. They are now compelling these people to be members of a union they do not want to be members of, and on top of that, they are taking their money. If they want to make them members of that union, then they should pay it. They should tell the people that they have formed a union for them, they are paying for it and if they have any issues, they should join that union.
