"content": "(Hon. (Ms.) Soipan Tuya): Before I give a chance to the Member for Kinangop - who is next on the list - I wish to give Hon. Millie clarity of mind on the issue she raised about approval of the list. It is water under the bridge, but it will be useful even for other Members to know what you were trying to raise. I will refer you to Standing Order No. 175 which is about approval of nomination. Once a list nominating Members is moved in the House, no objection against the proposed membership of a Member in a select committee shall be permitted and objections, if any, shall be formulated against the proposed membership as a whole. So, for clarity of mind, you can refer to Standing Order No. 175. However, that was not what Hon. Ghati was doing. She was adding Members to the list rather than opposing a Member or Members on the list. Member for Kinangop"
