"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Minister for his very elaborate Ministerial Statement and for kind of giving some policy direction on the management of our airports. I am not sure whether he is aware that the third largest airport in Kenya is situated in Wajir. The airport in Wajir has the longest runway after the runways of the airports in Mombasa and Kisumu, yet it is the least utilised airport. I have listened to the Minister’s Statement very carefully. He never even mentioned the existence of that airport. What arrangements does the Government have to ensure that Wajir international airport is utilised optimally?"
