I just want to echo the words of the Leader of the Majority Party that, indeed, the budget-making process is one of those key tenets that have been given to this House. This is important and I know there has been a lot of consultations since morning - back and forth. We appreciate the efforts of the Budget and Appropriations Committee in this regard. I think it is only fair that all Members have ample time to scrutinise the same and do justice to this Budget in terms of safeguarding lives and livelihoods of Kenyans."
