    "content": "Nevertheless, we have noted that the same has been captured under the community programme and we have received a correspondence from the Ministry of Water and Sanitation and Irrigation requesting that the same be under the National Expanded Irrigation Programmr. Hence, we shall be requesting for an amendment so that we can align the request of this Ministry when it comes to the Committee of Supply. Hon. Speaker, without further ado, I want to take this opportunity to thank the Budget and Appropriations Committee and especially its outgoing Chairman, Mhe. Kimani Ichung’wah, who has gone out of his way to ensure there is sanity in the sector and many Members can attest to the great work which he has been doing within the sector.
