  • 3 Jul 2018 in National Assembly: I would worry about the Government been lent all this money. Government gives a very low interest and inflation is not factored in. If the Government gives 10 per cent, and they borrow this money from the fund, then we would end with a situation where there will be very little in terms of inflation benefit to the retired citizens and employees of county governments. There should be creative thinking. Many old people require certain special care and attention. How about old people’s homes built by the fund or retirement homes where they can be taken care of and they ... view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, thank you very much for this opportunity. I am a bit disappointed. The Office of the AG and Department of Justice is where the budget for reparation was put. I was left to collect bodies, visit people and children who were maimed all over Nairobi County. For the 53 years I have lived, I have only seen three dead bodies but after the Post The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only. • 3 May 2018 in National Assembly: Election Violence (PEV), I saw over 100 bodies of young Kenyans who had been shot. This did not affect one community and at that point I realised every community lost a loved one. The President said no one else should die because of politics and that the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga and he did not agree on a number of issues. However, they agreed on one thing: That Kenya belongs to all of us. It made me wonder at what point Kenya had stopped belonging to all of us. When did we get to that point and how are we ... view
