    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 37 of the Bill be amended- (a) in paragraph (a) by inserting the words “including proceeds from patents and breeders rights” immediately after the words “functions under this Act”; (b) by inserting the following new sub-clauses- (2) The allocation of resources to the two directorates shall be done on a pro rata basis depending on the contribution to Kenya’s gross domestic product by the crop and livestock sectors, respectively; and, (3) The Public Finance Management Act, 2012, shall be applicable in the management of financial resources in the sectors at all levels."
