    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, the amendments are intended to re-cast the role of the Audit Advisory Board. Clause 27 talks about three similar roles. Paragraph (d) talks about reviewing audit committee‘s recommendations; (e) talks about giving any other advice that may be sought, and (f) talks of provision of counsel on technical issues and any other advice that the Auditor-General may request. These are similar functions. So, I thought it wise to reduce them in the manner that I have proposed."
