Personally, even as a legislator, I get suggestions even on my social media platforms that “you need to change this law or the other.” That is a suggestion that comes to us. However, it is duty-bound on us as legislators to consider and find ways in which we address these particular issues. view

However, as it is now, we have an opportunity because three weeks ago before the lapse of the term of this House, we proposed an Ad Hoc Committee to look into various proposals that are before the various Houses of Parliament. view
• 20 Dec 2022 in Senate: I believe that this is our opportunity as Members of Parliament, especially those that serve in this Ad Hoc Committee, that for every Shilling or every coin that Members of the National Assembly will be proposing especially, with regards to NG–CDF and NGEF, there must be a respectable share of resources to be used to carry out oversight in our counties that is proposed to the Senate. view
