• 8 Aug 2024 in Senate: Be that as it may, Senators are aware that in accordance with the Calendar for the Third Session, at the rise of the House today, the Senate will proceed on recess until 3rd September barring the letter that I have just pointed to and also the fact that presently, the Inspector General of Police (IG) is being vetted by both committees of the Houses in charge of national security. I suspect their report may be ready way in advance. Therefore, there is a likelihood that the recess might be interrupted. view
