  • 18 Apr 2018 in National Assembly: headquarters is about 283 kilometres from Sericho. Hawaye is about 290 kilometres. That is the furthest point in my constituency. It will be a huge task for one to travel over rough roads where there are no public vehicles to go to district headquarters to ask for birth certificates. You will need a minimum of seven days to seek the same. You can appreciate the cost one will incur in travelling and staying at the county headquarters just to get one birth certificate.   • 29 Nov 2017 in National Assembly: Touching on the Motion before this House, as I was coming this morning, I saw a lady on a wheelchair in the middle of the road because she was trying to avoid some potholes. I was really concerned for the life of that lady. If there was a lane designated for use by people living with disabilities, she would not have been in that situation.
