Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT Clause 87 be amended- (a) in paragraph (a) by deleting the words “such other period of time as may be specified in the licence” and substituting therefor the words, “as may be specified in the approved program for the mining operations.”; (b) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph(h)- (i) sign a community development agreement with the community where mining operations are to be carried out in such a manner as shall be prescribed in Regulations. Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 90 be amended in sub-clause (5) by inserting the words “on recommendation of the Mineral Rights Board” immediately after the word “Secretary”. This is basically adding the recommendation of the Mineral Rights Board before the Cabinet Secretary can make a decision.
