  • 27 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, one of the measures that we will definitely take is to try and put the proposition that has been made by the Questioner; that is to start more girls’ schools so that these girls can remain in school rather than get exposed. • 26 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Government is very committed. In fact, we need an estimated Kshs2.6 billion to ensure that we meet this need. I agree with the hon. Member that this is critical for the education of the girl child. This Parliament is, therefore, requested to ensure that we budget for the same. view
  • 26 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the supply of sanitary towels to the children is not on monthly basis but it is within a package that ensures a constant supply for the year. view
