  • 14 Oct 2021 in National Assembly: Finally, the question around Petroleum Development Levy is a question of many government organisations and company CEOs who have the ability to have money to spend. view
  • 18 Aug 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, I rise in support of the Statement and what Hon. Christopher Omulele has just stated to this House, that the conduct of the CS of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government is unbecoming. Sorry, Hon. Deputy Speaker. The conduct of the CS, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is unbecoming; one Hon. Magoha. I know somebody is just about to ask why I am obsessed with the CS, Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. He is also another big head. So, I owe him no apology. We will discuss him when his ... view
  • 18 Aug 2021 in National Assembly: But truth be told, if the CS does not prohibit the number of bars which are being operated in our villages, why does he want to stop women from giving birth and taking our children to school? So, it does not make any sense. I will continue saying that the only way we are going to liberate this country from the unbecoming conduct of this CS is reverting to a parliamentary system of governance. We need ministers from this House. Today, it could be Hon. Sossion who is the minister for education and he would understand these things better than ... view
  • 8 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. We have been closely working with Hon. Kaluma on this Bill but allow me to disagree with him on a few things. Probably we should be introducing a further amendment. Clause 3(2) (b) reads thus: “is reputed by the family of the deceased as having been in such cohabitation.” You know the history of Africans and how they behave. Even for a woman who is legally married, your family will always be the first people to throw you, your children and property outside. For that reason that is why we are saying, if you ... view
  • 8 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: At the cafeteria. I thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman view
  • 6 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: Ahsante, Mhe. Spika.
  • 6 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: Mhe.
  • 6 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: Mhe. Wangari Maathai viva. W anawake tusimame kidete. Naye Minister ambaye anahusika na maneno ya usalama, wacha kutuma askari kusukuma wanawake, hasa wanawake wale ambao wanatafuta viti. Sisi wanawake tunajivunia Wangari Maathai. Mhe. Spika, Mhe. David ole Sankok amevaa rangi ya chama. Furusha yeye avae nguo ambazo zinafaa Bungeni maanake hizo amevaa ni uniform ya chama. Ahsante. view
  • 6 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Hon. Aden Duale is a senior Member whom I respect a lot. I am just concerned because he made an allegation on the Floor of the House that the BBI is no longer there. He seems to know its fate and he is saying that it is dead. I want him, probably, to furnish this House with further information because this is a House of rules and order. We cannot operate with hearsays. We want him to tell us where he met with the Court of Appeal judges and he has, with no uncertain terms, condemned ... view
  • 6 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: or declared the BBI dead. With all love and honesty, I know he is a gentleman and a true one for this matter, a very religious and strict one. view
