• 7 Dec 2023 in Senate: been informed that it has been established by the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC), to validate assets and liabilities inherited from the defunct local authorities. IBEC is expected to report back between January and March, 2024. When the report is ready, we shall bring it. Madam Temporary Speaker, the Senate, through the County Allocation of Revenue Act, has over the years increased budgetary ceilings to county assemblies. We know where our weaknesses and strengths are as colleagues. I appreciate this because there has been diverse thinking and on argument. I know it has not been well all the time and we have had our differences. However, I am happy that we always converge at a certain point of reasoning. Perhaps I give my two or three points in support of the adjournment by the Majority Leader. I request the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) ... view
