Madam Temporary Speaker, I rise to continue to empathize with the victims of the heinous act of terrorism in 1998 where many Kenyans and other nationalities were killed. One of the victims that died is my resident of Nandi County, Namosine Village by the name Wilson Mutai. Finally, I appeal to the American Government because it is a friendly nation to compensate them. The American Government was compensated a whopping US$335 million by Sudan Government to be removed from the list of terrorist countries. The USA itself has received compensation over victims of terrorist attacks. Even in the 1988 Lockerbie attack, the Panama Airline that was shot allegedly by terrorists, the Libyan Government paid US$1.5 billion in terms of compensation to the Americans and other nationalities that died during the Lockerbie Air Crash by Panama Flight.
