As I said earlier, the Ministry, our President and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) should do something. I think the President will only work when there is proper advice from the Cabinet Secretary in charge. However, since there is incompetence within that Ministry, it will always be hard to ensure that our athletes are not subjected to double taxation. view

It is good that Senior Counsel, Sen. Orengo, is here. The burden of proof will now move from the athlete to the person accusing them. Before this was being criminalised, the burden of proof was on the athlete that they were not using performance enhancement drugs. view
