• 25 Sep 2024 in Senate: amendments to guarantee minimum returns legislation are lying in the National Assembly. I challenge our county assemblies. Let us be honest, if we want to do food security. Let us first track the Bills that touch on farmers. Many of the Bills from the Senate would have assisted because agriculture is devolved under the Fourth schedule of the Constitution. Even as investigations are still ongoing, I was shocked by the statement made by Nandi County Criminal Investigations Officer (CCIO), Peter Ochieng Ogola, saying that investigations were concluded, but the Governor was not aware.
