The Committee is, therefore, the forum through which Members of the National Assembly channel views regarding their welfare to the Commission. Owino that seeks to create a council that will look into the interest of the community health workers. They link the community with health facilities. Barasa that seeks to ensure that pensioners are paid within 90 days after retirement. But I look at it from a different angle. It is important for employers to prepare pensioners in advance. It is the right of pensioners to get pension. But they should not only depend on pension to sustain their lives. Training on life outside work should be a priority of all employers.
