Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise under Standing Order No.48(1) to seek a statement from the Standing Committee on Tourism, Trade and Industrialization concerning the multiple tax payment by lorries and trucks transporting building materials across counties in Kenya. Madam Deputy Speaker, it was a point of order. I want to remind ourselves that we are going to vote 11 times. We are going to vote on every charge. Therefore, if we take long, we shall leave here at 2.00 a.m. That will be in the morning. With all fairness, we have elderly people seated in this House, who will not manage to sit up to 2.00 a.m. Therefore, if you can find a way of concluding, so that we can go straight to the vote, it will be fair enough and convenient to this House.
