Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to be on record. I did not say that it is bad for my name as a father to be on a birth certificate. I meant that if my name is on a birth certificate as a father of a child, it is not necessary for the child to be asked to present a birth certificate for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) registration. Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I want to take this earliest opportunity to join my colleagues in congratulating Sen. Kihika upon her election to head the International Women Parliamentary Forum. I want to look at it as a win for Kenya, but more specifically for the Kenyan girl child. Sen. That is the only way we are going to curb corruption because a woman is sensitive. Even if she will want to indulge in corruption, she will not do so to the extent that leaders who are men are doing it.
