The late Hon. Maingi left Parliament and was not elected again. The constituency included some parts of what is now Machakos Town Constituency. The death of these animals was occasioned by negligence and for that, people should be held culpable and most probably face some jail terms or are even be removed from office. This is so that something of this nature will not be repeated in this country and we will save other animals in future. view

  • 10 Sep 2020 in National Assembly: While we are looking at the post COVID-19 period, tourism has been a main foreign exchange earner and many people look forward to coming to our country to visit the park just near the city here and many other parks in the country. Therefore, the security and care of animals is so crucial. We should not have poachers and we should have a management which will truly take care of the animals. view
