Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I was saying that the hoisting of a flag of any nation on another nationâs land by international law can be construed to mean annexation. Having said that, I am pleased to note that the Government of Uganda has since removed the flag on Migingo Island after diplomacy took place. Therefore, there is no flag at the moment and I am very happy that Uganda recognized that it was wrong for them to hoist a flag on Migingo Island.
